Classic Banana Bread

Ingredients 

  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour 
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda 
  • ¼ tsp Salt 
  • ¾ cup Brown Sugar 
  • ½ cup Butter (softened) 
  • 2 large Eggs, beaten 
  • 2 ⅓ cups Mashed Overripe Bananas 

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan. 
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. 
  3. In another bowl, beat butter and brown sugar until smooth. 
  4. Mix in eggs and mashed bananas until blended. 
  5. Combine banana mixture with dry ingredients; stir just until moistened. 
  6. Pour batter into the prepared pan. 
  7. Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. 
  8. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes. Turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely. 

You can also turn this recipe into muffins if you prefer. There’s nothing quite like the smell of banana bread baking in the oven.
